SHAWANO, WI- JR Machine LLC, a leader in precision machining and manufacturing, has been named a finalist in the Small Business Category for the 36th Annual Manufacturer of the Year (MOTY) Awards. The company is one of nearly two dozen Wisconsin manufacturers recognized for their innovation, philanthropy, technological advancements, and commitment to excellence in creating quality jobs.

The MOTY program, sponsored by Baker Tilly, Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, and Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC), honors the state’s top manufacturers across all sectors and sizes. It celebrates the vital role manufacturing plays in Wisconsin, an industry that employs one in six workers and generates nearly $72 billion in annual economic output.

JR Machine joins a distinguished group of finalists in the Small Category, which includes companies with fewer than 100 employees. Other finalists in the category include Lemke Industrial Machine LLC, Omnia Wood Products LLC (Smokey Woods), Pindel Global Precision, and Saco Foods, LLC.

The awards will culminate with the selection of four Grand Award winners, one from each size category: Small, Medium, Large, and Mega. Judges may also present Special Awards to companies excelling in specific areas of expertise.
