SHAWANO, WI- The Shawano 2024 Annual Fly-In and Car Show event has been re-scheduled for SUNDAY AUGUST 18TH from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M. due to weather conditions.

“The potential bad weather does not give people from around the state the ability to fly in if they want to come,” said Shawano Mayor Bruce Milivitz.

He said that the fear of rain was also limiting people from wanting to display their classic cars.

“They had to make the decision early enough so people can adjust their plans, but it is going to be a fantastic show on Sunday.”

The same thing happened last year. Milivitz said they put in the rain date for that reason.

Free airplane rides will be available for kids ages 8-17. The event will also include the Warbirds and skydivers. Kids can enjoy bounce houses. Food will be available on site. Those in attendance will be able to see classic cars as well as static plane displays.
