GREEN BAY, WI- A 43-year-old woman was sentenced last week for a fatal drunk-driving crash that occurred in 2019 on the Menominee Indian Reservation.
Erin Schweitzer received a sentence of 12 years in federal prison and was placed on supervised release for three years after that. Schweitzer was convicted of involuntary manslaughter after operating a vehicle while intoxicated, crashing, and killing her passenger Kenny LaTender. The crash also injured two others. The crash happened in April of 2019 on Highway VV.
Her BAC at the time nearly three times the legal limit, and she also had THC in her system, according to court documents.
