SHAWANO, WI- An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman who is facing multiple charges in Shawano County. Ann Retzlaff is facing new bail jumping charges that were filed on Tuesday after she allegedly left the state without permission from the courts.
Shawano County District Attorney Greg Parker made mention of the allegations when Retzlaff was in court last week when she was seeking permission from the court to leave the state to go on vacation with her kids for the holidays. At that time, Judge Michael Moran gave permission for Retzlaff to leave Sauk County, as long as she provides the court her vacation itinerary. Since then, Shawano County District Attorney Parker learned that she allegedly got a ride to Michigan earlier this month while she has been residing in Sauk County, which is a bond violation.
As of Tuesday court records do not show a signed order by Judge Moran allowing for the vacation. It was mentioned in court that the vacation was going to start last week, but it is unknown if that vacation ever took place.
It was also mentioned in court that bond violation could result in Retzlaff losing her bond money that she paid. That money is currently being used for pay for her attorney fees.
