SHAWANO, WI- The Shawano School District handed out instructional learning packets to families of Elementary students.

The packets contained lessons, worksheets and instructional guidance for families.

The material given is set to cover the month of April. Some teachers gave additional ideas of educational activities that can be done.

Each teacher is working with the families to help guide them along the way.

The School District offered a drive-up method of attaining the packets to observe social distancing.

“We ask families to remain in their vehicle.”

Once the vehicle pulls up, they ask for the child’s name, grade, and teacher and hand you the packet through the car window and send you on your way.

Families are asked to be intentional with following the communication plan that their teachers put in place.

Those who were not able to pick up their child’s learning packet can do so on Thursday from 10:30-Noon and from 3:30 to 5:00 PM.
