Shawano Schools will be accepting future Shawano Hawks into the Shawano Baby Hawk Program starting Monday, Nov. 28. This program was designed to allow the district to connect to future families in the Shawano School District area at the earliest point in a child’s life.

A Shawano Baby Hawk and his or her family will receive a free future Shawano Hawk bib and other resources from the district, along with regular contact, including birthday cards and other information and surprises.

Parents will be able to sign up online at www.shawanoschools.com/babyhawks.cfm, or by sending in and dropping off a program district postcard. The program postcards will be made available at all Shawano School District building offices and will also be distributed to new parents by ThedaCare of Shawano.

Because the program is being implemented in the midst of the school year, all future Hawks born on or after Sept. 1 of this year are eligible to enter the program as part of the unofficial Shawano Class of 2034.

All interest parents in the Shawano School District and the surrounding area are eligible to enter their child in the program.
