SHAWANO, WI. – August 15, 2018 – Today, broadline foodservice distributor Reinhart
Foodservice, L.L.C. announced plans for a new facility totaling 260,000 square feet on County
Road B in Shawano, Wisconsin.
This facility’s footprint is significantly larger than Reinhart’s
existing one and includes $35 million in capital investment. It is projected to bring up to 50 new
jobs in the first three years of operation.
Reinhart is one of the five largest foodservice distributors in the United States with 26
distribution centers across the eastern half of the U.S. It provides fresh produce, proteins,
ingredients, supplies and equipment to a variety of customers, including independent
restaurants, delis, sporting venues, schools, healthcare facilities and restaurant chains.
Reinhart employs 900 people in its three Wisconsin facilities, including 275 employees at its
full-service Shawano facility.

Reinhart’s new Shawano distribution center will feature premium efficiency low-charge
ammonia refrigeration equipment, 100% LED lighting, an employee training center with test
