Wisconsin’s political map will likely go back under the microscope this spring. A federal court Tuesday scheduled an April trial to determine if the state’s political map is too political. The U-S Supreme Court says states cannot draw political boundaries to separate people by race, but the high court has been less clear about drawing lines to separate people by political party. The court Tuesday said they hope to hear arguments in the spring, issue a ruling in the summer, and clear the way for a Supreme Court challenge sometime in 2019.
