A former Menominee tribal police officer has agreed to plead guilty to having inappropriate social media contact with a teenage girl. According to the 13-page plea deal, Basil O’Kimosh pleads guilty to attempting to get nude photos from the girl, while a second count would be dropped. The count results in a potential sentence of 15-to-30 years in prison but the parties have agreed to recommend the minimum of 15 years, according to the plea agreement. The Menominee Tribal Police department fired O’Kimosh after learning of the allegations. Sentencing for O’Kimosh will be set at a later date.
