Wrightstown Pulls Away from Oconto Falls, 7-2
OCONTO FALLS — Wrightstown used big innings early and late to top Oconto Falls 7-2 in North Eastern Conference action.
The Tigers scored once in the second inning, three times in the third, and added three more insurance runs in the seventh. Trevor Vande Hey led the Tigers’ offense, going 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while Aiden Humphreys finished 2-for-2 with a home run.
Humphreys was equally dominant on the mound, tossing 5⅔ innings of three-hit ball, allowing two earned runs and striking out 12.
For Oconto Falls, Luke Gilbertson had a perfect night at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two RBI. Carter Heroux took the loss, pitching six innings and striking out eight.
Marinette Sweeps Denmark with Late-Game Heroics
MARINETTE — The Marinette Marines rallied in both games of a doubleheader to sweep Denmark, winning 3-2 and 10-9.
In Game 1, Marinette clawed back from a 2-0 deficit, scoring single runs in the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings. Levi Hanson paced the offense with a 2-for-3 day. Cooper Smith earned the win in relief, pitching two shutout innings and striking out two.
Denmark’s Eli Kapinos was 2-for-3 in the opener.
In Game 2, Smith stayed hot at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI. Marinette erased an 8-6 deficit, scoring twice in the seventh and twice more in the eighth to complete the comeback. Wyatt Stauss and Sawyer Walters each had two hits and two RBI.
Kapinos and Braedyn Heezen each tallied two hits for Denmark.
Crivitz Blanks Menominee Nation in Five Innings
CRIVITZ — Crivitz scored early and often in a 10-0 five-inning win over Menominee Nation.
The Wolverines jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and scored in every frame. Colton Arpke powered the offense with a double, a triple, and two hits overall. Walter Laguna Herrera and Braxton Kirby also had two hits apiece.
Arpke was electric on the mound, striking out 13 over 4⅔ innings without allowing a hit. Stephen Allard recorded the final out to complete the shutout.
Mike Chapman took the loss for Menominee Nation.
Huge Fifth Inning Propels Hortonville Past Appleton East, 14-5
APPLETON — Hortonville erupted for 11 runs in the fifth inning to erase a three-run deficit and pull away for a 14-5 win over Appleton East in Fox Valley Association action.
The Patriots had jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning and maintained that edge until the Polar Bears’ explosive fifth inning flipped the game. Hortonville added three more runs in the seventh, while East capped the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the frame.
Turner Kuhnke led Hortonville at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. Kaden Kreski and Griffin Jens also collected two hits apiece, while Kameron Chronis, Jack Tennie, and Kael Konrad each drove in two runs.

West De Pere Rallies Past Seymour in Wild Finish, 9-8
DE PERE — West De Pere battled back from an early deficit, scoring three runs in the fifth inning and one more in the sixth to edge Seymour 9-8 in Bay Conference play.
Kailey Fink led the Phantoms at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Lily Bukoske added a home run and drove in two runs, while Brooke Shoemaker chipped in a 2-for-4 performance with two runs scored.
Seymour jumped ahead early, scoring twice in the first inning and four more in the second. Addison Wery paced the Thunder, going 2-for-2 with a double, home run and three RBI, while Addesin Smith drove in two runs. Seymour stretched its lead to 8-5 in the fifth, but West De Pere’s late rally sealed the comeback win.
Denmark Blanks Waupaca Behind Umentum’s Big Night
DENMARK — Vanny Umentum drove in four runs on two hits to power Denmark to a dominant 15-0 win over Waupaca in North Eastern Conference action.
Maggie Frank earned the victory in the circle, as the Vikings improved to 6-3 overall and 5-1 in conference play. Waupaca dropped to 1-5 in the NEC.
FVL Rolls Past Wrightstown, 10-2
WRIGHTSTOWN — Claire Pfrang racked up three hits, including a double, to help Fox Valley Lutheran cruise to a 10-2 North Eastern Conference win over Wrightstown.
Madison Babcock was strong on the mound for the Foxes, allowing just two hits over five shutout innings with nine strikeouts and one walk.
Natalie Colwell and Lola Beyer each drove in a run for the Tigers.
Crivitz Offense Overwhelms Menominee Nation, 13-2
CRIVITZ — Crivitz used 10 hits and eight walks to fuel a 13-2 victory over Menominee Nation.
Isabelle Danielczak homered and drove in two runs, while Kiya Brand tallied two hits, two runs scored and three RBI. Lillian Biundo added two RBI, and Hadley Scheuerman, Izabella Wesolowski and Hattie Frievalt each scored twice.
Danielczak also earned the win in the circle, tossing a five-inning complete game. Natalie Peters took the loss for Menominee Nation.
Thompson, Bonduel Edge Amherst, 2-1
AMHERST — Emery Thompson turned in a dominant performance, scattering five hits and striking out 12 to lead Bonduel to a 2-1 Central Wisconsin Conference win over Amherst.
Jayla Reinke and Tatum Sporisky each delivered RBI doubles to fuel the Bears’ offense, while Thompson also helped her cause with a 2-for-3 effort at the plate.
The win sets up a showdown Thursday when the 4-0 Bears host 5-0 Manawa.
Sevastopol Powers Past Coleman, 12-2
STURGEON BAY — Sevastopol broke open the game with a six-run sixth inning, capped by Sienna Cain’s walk-off two-run double, to defeat Coleman 12-2.
Addison Schauske picked up the win, pitching five strong innings and contributing a 3-for-4 performance at the plate.
Kayla Ranly and Naomi Rikkola each homered and doubled for the Pioneers, combining for five runs scored. Braelynn Staats added three hits, two RBI and four stolen bases, while Leah Schopf also homered to help lead the offensive onslaught.
Shiocton Rallies Late to Edge Iola-Scandinavia, 2-1
IOLA — Shiocton scored single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to rally past Iola-Scandinavia 2-1 in a Central Wisconsin Conference-East matchup on Tuesday.
Trailing 1-0, the Chiefs tied the game in the sixth when Morgan Oskey lifted a sacrifice fly to score Abby Young on a close play at the plate. Ella Griesbach then delivered the go-ahead hit in the seventh, singling home the winning run. Griesbach finished 3-for-4 at the plate, while Abby Presteen added two hits.
Presteen also pitched a complete game, striking out five and allowing just two hits and two walks to pick up the win.
The Thunderbirds managed just two hits in the loss — a single from Libby Maus and an RBI groundout from Ava Printz that gave Iola-Scandinavia a brief lead. Rayanne Clendenning went the distance in the circle for the T-Birds, striking out six and walking two.
