Early this morning, officers were dispatched to the 900 block of South Union Street for a barking dog complaint. Shortly after, a disturbance was reported on East Center Street, with officers responding swiftly to assess the situation.
At 3:00 a.m., a welfare check was initiated after two individuals were found lying in the street near Washington and Green Bay. Both were breathing, and EMS was called to the scene.
Another welfare check followed around 10 a.m. on South Hamlin Street for an elderly man experiencing dizzy spells. His son had requested officers check in before his arrival.
Midday, officers handled a drug-related call involving a syringe found in someone’s yard, along with two vehicle lockouts—one at Farm Inn on Main and another at Qualheim’s True Value.
Later, police investigated separate harassment cases at Engel Drive, one involving employee threats and another related to fraud after a resident discovered a credit card was opened in their name.
The day closed with a reported disturbance at McDonald’s on Green Bay Street and a welfare check on Franklin Street regarding a truck left running suspiciously.
