OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region will host a live, online Construction Information Meeting (CIM) on Wednesday, April 2, at 5 p.m. to discuss upcoming roadwork on WIS 54 and WIS 47 in Outagamie County. The meeting will provide details on construction plans, schedules, traffic impacts, and detours.
The multi-year project resumes in April, with a major two-month closure of WIS 54 planned for June 2025. Project engineers will present maps, road closure details, detour routes, and business impact mitigation efforts.

Project Scope:
- WIS 54: Resurfacing 8.8 miles from Liberty (west of House Road) to Park Avenue in Shiocton, including storm sewer repairs, curb ramp upgrades, and structure replacement.
- WIS 47 (Urban): Resurfacing 0.5 miles from County B to Burdick Street in Black Creek.
- WIS 47 (Rural): Resurfacing 8.1 miles from Burdick Street to the northern Outagamie County line in Cicero.
