
Jim R. Beery, age 95 of Clintonville, passed away on Friday morning, February 28, 2025 at Shawano Health Services.
Born Harvey “Jim” Roger Beery on Mary 12, 1929 in Shawano, WI, son to the late Ray & Mary (Biebelhausen) Beery. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1950 and was later honorably discharged in December of 1952. Jim was united in marriage to Elaine Walters in Dubuque, IA on January 10, 1958. The couple moved to Clintonville in 1963 and Jim was employed in sales at the H. Phillips Co. in Wausau, WI for over 25 years. As a member of the Curling Club, Jim served on the board twice and enjoyed curling for many years. He also loved to spend time outdoors golfing, fishing and hunting. Traveling to Canada and North Dakota many times over the years for duck hunting was always something he enjoyed. As a member of American Legion Post #63, Jim, with his long-time friend, Jack McConly, was a staple on the grill for the Legion Steak Fries for over 25 years. Spending leisure time up at the cabin near Pickerel Lake with his family was a great opportunity to relax and catch up with loved ones.

Daughters: Mary (Darrell) Ruh, Bonnie (Dave) Ferg, & Cindy (Warren) Walotka
Grandchildren: Kelly (Jason) Ruh, Donny (Tammy) Ruh, Corey Ferg, & Shannon (Emily) Ferg
Seven great-grandchildren
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elaine; sisters, Gladies (Irni) Schultz, Pearl (Leonard) Zaddock, Milly Beery, Evlyn (Lealand) Yaeger, Elaine (Bob) Hien, Arlyn (Scott) Jump; & a brother, Elmer (Alice) Beery.
A graveside committal will be held at 11 AM, Friday March 7, 2025 at St. Rose Cemetery, Clintonville. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post #664, American Legion Post #63, and American Legion Auxiliary Unit #63, all of Clintonville.
The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville is assisting the Beery family.
