Tina Marie Anderson (Lumby), age 43 of the town of Dupont, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday February 25, 2025.
Tina Marie Anderson was born October 21, 1981, in Fort Atkinson, WI as the daughter of Edward Lumby and the late Donna Shaw. In Tina’s younger years, some of her favorite things were building her everlasting special bond with her brothers and singing. Tina was involved in choir all through school and was a state champion singer. She carried this passion with her throughout her life, as karaoke was a favorite of hers. Tina graduated from Marion High School, where she met many of her lifelong friends and her future husband, Adam John Anderson. Tina and Adam stayed friends after High School and began dating when Adam was 20 and Tina 19 years old, respectively. Tina and Adam were united in marriage on September 17, 2011. Soon after, Tina and Adam became parents to their pride and joy, their Goldendoodle Griffen “Griffy”. Tina loved Griffy as a son for all his 12+ years. They were inseparable, if you needed to find Tina just look for Griffy.
At the age of 24 , Tina was diagnosed with a very progressive form of Multiple Sclerosis. This changed Tina’s life drastically, but she never stopped sharing her light and leaving her mark on the world. The list of people that Tina touched in her life is truly endless. She had a special way of impacting everyone around her, from friends and family, to absolute strangers. Tina could be in excruciating pain and still give you her last drop of kindness to make your day a little better. Tina had a heart of gold. Although the MS took a terrible toll on her over the years, the light from her soul still beamed onto those around her. She was an absolute warrior. She signified the incredible strength and courageousness needed to battle this disease. Tina’s sheer determination, bravery, and no BS attitude allowed her to live her life to the fullest despite her physical limitations.
Some of Tina’s interests included spending time with family and friends, especially playing games. She treasured playing Yahtzee or Farkle with her mom, family and friends or cribbage with her husband and in-laws. She loved kids and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was the definition of an animal lover. Those who knew her well called her the “dog whisperer”. There wasn’t a pup alive that didn’t take right to her, immediately. Another passion of Tina’s was being in the kitchen. She was a great cook and an even better baker. She loved finding new recipes and then making them for her family, whom she loved to host. Her favorite thing was spending time with her husband, Adam, whom she referred to as her “gift from god”. As Tina’s body and abilities were decimated by her MS, Adam was the epitome of a devoted husband. His caretaking and unconditional love for her was unwavering. Tina and Adam’s deep love for each other was apparent to anyone who knew them. Tina would tell anyone that would listen that despite her struggles, Adam made her life worth living.
