Tonight’s Boys Basketball Games:
#1 Bonduel (19-0) at Wittenberg-Birnamwood (16-3)
The Central Wisconsin-East title is on the line Thursday night as top-ranked Bonduel (19-0, 11-0 CWC-East) visits second-place Wittenberg-Birnamwood (16-3, 10-1 CWC-East). A Bonduel win secures back-to-back league championships, while a Chargers victory keeps their first title hopes in over 20 years alive.
Bonduel enters with a dominant offense, averaging 80.1 points per game, led by Race Anvelink (16.1 PPG) and Quinn Wesenberg (16.0 PPG). The Bears also control the boards with Ryan Westrich (8.6 RPG).
Wittenberg-Birnamwood counters with a dynamic scorer in Jett Rogowski (26.7 PPG), supported by Zandyr Barke (11.4 PPG). The Chargers average 65.3 PPG and will need a strong defensive effort to slow down Bonduel’s high-powered attack.
The Chargers look to avenge a 20-point loss earlier this season, but stopping undefeated Bonduel is a tall order. Expect an intense, physical battle with championship implications.
The game will be broadcast on Frog 92.3 FM with a 6:45 pregame show.
