GILLETT, WI- Jesse DeBauch’s 32 points and Ryan Pensis’ 14 helped Gillett defeat Suring 59-54 in a tight Marinette & Oconto Conference matchup. Gillett led 30-26 at halftime and held on in the second half despite a strong push from Suring. Michael Bailey (16 points), Taylor Booth Stoffregen (13), and Donny Otradovec (12) paced the Eagles.
Bonduel Dominates Weyauwega-Fremont, Wins 78-29
Bonduel remained unbeaten in the Central Wisconsin Conference and overall with a dominant 78-29 victory over Weyauwega-Fremont. Quinn Wesenberg and Race Anvelink each scored 14 points to lead the Bears, while Carter Moesch added 12 and Cade Johnson chipped in 10. Bonduel raced to a 46-11 halftime lead, with solid shooting from beyond the arc, including three 3-pointers from Zuleger. Broc Billington led Weyauwega-Fremont with 13 points.
Coleman Pulls Away for 62-52 Win Over Lena
Tyler Rennie’s 30 points and Kolton Peters’ 19 led Coleman to a 69-59 Marinette & Oconto Conference victory over Lena. The game was tied at halftime, but the Cougars closed strong with a 33-26 second-half run.
