LENA, WI- On Sunday, January 12, 2025, at approximately 2:50 p.m., the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Dispatch Center received a report of a UTV accident with injuries on Goatsville Road, east of Midway Road, in the Town of Lena.

Deputies responded promptly and found a damaged UTV in the ditch on the north side of Goatsville Road, just east of Midway Road. A preliminary investigation revealed that the UTV, driven by a 49-year-old male from Lena, veered off the road and overturned in the ditch. The driver, who was ejected from the vehicle, tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office are conducting an ongoing investigation into the accident. No additional information is available at this time.
