Connie J. Hoffmann, age 71 of the Town of Wyoming, Waupaca County, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Shawano Health Services, with her loving family by her side.
Connie Jean Hoffmann, was born September 13, 1953 in Clintonville, WI, daughter to the late Ernst & Eldora (Durkey) Krueger. She grew up in the area and graduated with the Marion High School class of 1971. She worked as a bartender, at Marion Plywood, the clock factory, Clintonville, Sturm Foods as a supervisor, and Glen Cairn Golf Course. She enjoyed softball in her younger years, and golf and pool for many years. Her crowning achievements were a hole-in-one on hole 3 at Maple Hills; and on hole 14 at Glen Cairn. Connie met a lot of people through her sporting hobbies and she always found it easy to make friends. She enjoyed fishing at her secret fishing spot, despite the snakes, and also took a memorable trip to Costa Rica where she fished for Mahi-mahi. The trip of a lifetime to Alaska was one that she would never forget; she did all the driving and saw Denali, glaciers, wildlife and also did some golfing. With a deep love of the outdoors, Connie enjoyed deer hunting, ice fishing, downhill skiing, and feeding the hummingbirds in the summertime. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality, how easy she was to talk to, and the love she had for her family.
