NORTHEAST WI,-Heat and humidity will build today, peaking this
afternoon with heat index readings in the upper 90s to low triple
digits. There is an additional threat for severe weather late this
evening through Tuesday. The combined effects of heat and humidity could become hazardous to vulnerable populations, particularly the elderly, those without air conditioning, and individuals spending prolonged periods of time outdoors.
