Judy A. Rosenow, age 77 of Embarrass, passed away due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease, on Wednesday August 14, 2024 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Shawano.
Judy Alice Rosenow was born October 6, 1946 in Shawano, WI, daughter to the late Rudolph & Martha (Riske) Kupsky. She graduated from Shawano High School with the class of 1965. Judy was united in marriage to Rodney Carl Rosenow on September 25, 1965 at St. James Lutheran Church, Shawano. She attended church for many years at Zion Lutheran Church, Embarrass and later became an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Shawano. Judy worked for Torborgs Lumber, Wunsch’s Dairy Equipment, and later retired from Noritage Inc. Furniture Stores. Judy loved to bake and decorate cakes; her apple sheet cake was loved by all! She enjoyed sewing and crafting, tagging all of her pieces with “Made by Judy with love.” Every time the Rosenow family got larger, Judy would make a new Christmas stocking for them. She also enjoyed quilting, gardening, and canning. In her younger years, she bowled on a regular basis, as well as coached youth bowling. Genealogy was a great passion of hers; she would clip out obituaries from newspapers and loved researching family members. She was active in the community and showed her servant heart by volunteering at nursing homes and church thrift stores. Judy was a very active person who rarely sat, even while eating meals, visiting and entertaining. She will be remembered for the love she had for family and friends.
