SHAWANO, WI- Authorities are currently probing the cause of a fire that ignited at storage facilities located just beyond Shawano city limits.

Responding to a call, the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office dispatched personnel to N4844 Waukechon Street in the town of Waukechon shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, deputies encountered a scene where the storage units were fully engulfed in flames.

As of Tuesday morning, investigations by the sheriff’s office were still ongoing at the site.
