NEW LONDON, WI- The New London Community Fund, recently established as a permanent endowment fund under the umbrella of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, aims to bolster the region’s charitable efforts.
Similar to a community savings account, this fund is poised to become a sustainable reservoir of resources dedicated to supporting local organizations dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all residents. Through an annual grant process, these funds will be disbursed to charitable initiatives working towards community betterment.
While neighboring communities like Waupaca, Clintonville, Chilton, Brillion, and Shawano have long benefited from established Community Foundations and permanent endowment funds, New London is now stepping up to the plate.
The initiative has gained momentum thanks to the efforts of the Van Alstine family, who have been rallying support from community leaders, businesses, organizations, and friends to establish and nurture the New London Community Fund. Donations of any size are welcome and tax-deductible.
Operated under the nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, the New London Community Fund will be managed and invested on behalf of this charitable cause.
To contribute, individuals can send checks payable to the New London Community Fund to 4455 W. Lawrence St., Appleton, WI 54914, or conveniently give online at www.cffoxvalley.org/give-
