BOWLER, WI- The Bowler School District is set to benefit from a $23,898 grant allocated for upgrading distance learning technology, courtesy of the USDA Rural Development’s Rural Utility Services Distance Learning and Telemedicine (RUS-DLT) grant.
In a broader context, two Wisconsin distance learning consortiums, namely the Northern Wisconsin Educational Communications System (NWECS) and the Embarrass River Valley Instructional Network Group (ERVING), in collaboration with Northwood Technical College, have collectively secured $999,480 in funding. This grant aims to support the $1.5 million NWECS-ERVING Collaborative Distance Learning Initiative.
