Dale D. Hohn, age 77 of Clintonville, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at his home.
Dale David Hohn was born March 28, 1946 in Shawano, WI, second son to the late Daniel & Fern (Hecker) Hohn of Bowler, WI. He was baptized at Elias Lutheran Church, Gresham.
He graduated from Bowler High School and immediately entered into military service with the Marine Corps. On June 1, 1964. There, he served with two Vietnam tours, reaching rank of Sergeant in 1966, and was honorably discharged May 30, 1968.
Dale was united in marriage to Jeanne Laatsch on June 1,1969 at St. John Lutheran Church, Town of Grant. During their marriage, they were blessed with eight children before separating.
He loved animals, hobby farmed, was employed within trucking and heavy equipment operating capacities, later retiring from the forestry industry. Dale dearly loved his children and grandchildren, and will be truly missed.

Grandchildren: Samantha, Madison, Benjamin, Nicholas, Zachary, Nathan, Noah, Autumn, Kaleb, Miley, Tyah, Aisha, Anthony, Lucas, & Vanessa
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and his sister, Lois (Dennis) Pinno.
A service of remembrance will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, South Location, 299 S. Main St. Clintonville. The Rev. John Laatsch will be officiating. Military honors will be conducted following the service, by VFW Post #664, American Legion Post #63, and American Legion Auxiliary Unit #63, all of Clintonville.
Visitation will take place on Friday at the funeral home from 9 AM until the time of service.
Graveside committal and burial will take place at 1 PM on Friday at Elias Lutheran Cemetery, Gresham.
The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville is assisting the Hohn family with arrangements.
