NEW LONDON, WI- First State Bank marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of its new corporate headquarters on Monday. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the occasion at the bank’s new two-story building located at 220 W. Waupaca Street in New London. This state-of-the-art facility combines the bank’s lobby, drive-up services, and local operations under one roof, streamlining customer access.

For over 35 years, First State Bank had operated a separate drive-up facility, but the new headquarters marks a strategic shift in their operations. Matt Lemke, President, and CEO of First State Bank expressed his excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter of First State Bank’s commitment to the New London community.”

To further celebrate this momentous occasion, First State Bank has organized a Grand Opening Celebration scheduled from October 10 to 14. The festivities kick off on Tuesday with cake, punch, and free giveaways.

Wednesday offers an opportunity to contribute to the community, as visitors can bring in canned soup donations for the Washington Center Community Cupboard and receive a complimentary First State Bank soup mug.

On Thursday, lucky patrons can snag free pairs of movie tickets for the Grand Cinema Theater, while supplies last.

Friday’s festivities coincide with homecoming weekend, featuring tailgating snacks and a chance to win an enticing New London Bulldogs gift basket.

The celebration reaches its pinnacle on Saturday, October 14, with a “Fall Family Fun Day” at the New London office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers and community members are warmly invited to partake in free family fun, including a giant inflatable corn maze, a bounce house, New London FFA’s petting zoo, complimentary concessions, games, and live music by Jamus Unplugged.

Throughout the Grand Opening Celebration week, visitors can enter their names into a drawing for hourly prizes. Those who register also have the opportunity to win a grand prize of $1,000, with the drawing taking place at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 16.
