CLINTONVILLE, WI- The Fall Frenzy returns to downtown Clintonville on Saturday, September 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Presented by the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce and B&H Fashionwear & Footwear, this year’s event promises an array of activities and entertainment for all.
Kicking off the festivities, the Pigeon Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District has scheduled a kayak race on Friday, September 15, at 5 p.m. Participants can easily register for this exciting event on the chamber’s website or directly at the event itself. For those without kayaks, the event organizers have ensured that kayaks will be available.
Saturday’s schedule is brimming with excitement, starting with a duck race hosted by the Pigeon Lake District at 11 a.m. in front of the Community Center. Duck enthusiasts can enter the race for a mere $2 per duck, with cash prizes and exciting rewards awaiting the victorious ducks.
For lovers of pies, Adelle’s Bluebird Café and Tadych’s Marketplace are sponsoring a pie contest beginning at 8:30 a.m. Participants are encouraged to showcase their culinary skills by bringing their best apple, pecan, pumpkin, or chocolate pies for judging (two per category). Registration for the contest is open on the chamber’s website and at the event. Prizes in cash will be granted, and the proceeds from pie sales will be dedicated to purchasing CPR machines for the Clintonville Area Ambulance.
Health enthusiasts can join the Onward Clintonville Fall Frenzy 5k race starting at 9 a.m. Registration is open online at runsignup.com.
At noon, Jeanne Rose will host a Cornhole Tournament, with all proceeds going to support the Clintonville Area Food Pantry. Register for this exciting tournament at Jeanne Rose Sports Bar.
Foodies will have an exceptional day, with a diverse range of culinary options available. Bear Creek BBQ, UCC Church, Old Glory Candy’s Caramel Apple Bar, New London Methodist Church Men’s Club serving brats, hamburgers, and authentic Mexican tacos will cater to all palates.
The event will feature over 60 vendors, offering everything from crafts and woodworking to honey, make-and-take projects, Norwex, Mile 22 Roastery, Simply Aromatic, Pink Zebra, and a dedicated section featuring The Robbin’s Nest Vendors.
Adding to the excitement, this year’s Fall Frenzy includes new attractions such as chainsaw carving and martial arts demonstrations. The atmosphere will remain lively throughout the day with live music by the Pearl Street Band and DJ entertainment provided by Jeanne Rose.
Families are well taken care of, with both a Community Zone and a Kid Zone featuring bouncy houses, a petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, games, prizes, and an opportunity to explore Clintonville Area Ambulance vehicles up close.
An enticing basket raffle awaits attendees, sponsored by Scour Plumbing, Drain, and Sewer Contractor. Moreover, a scavenger hunt with prizes donated by Tadych’s Marketplace is set to add a touch of adventure to the day.
