Judy A. Bork, age 78 of the Town of Dupont passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Neenah.
Judy Ann (Morrison) Bork was born on April 28, 1945, at Iola Hospital to Daney and Cora (Bressler) Morrison. She grew up in the Town of Dupont and attended Marion schools. Judy graduated from Waupaca High School in 1965. She was united in marriage on February 16, 1963, to William L. Bork at St. John Lutheran Church, Marion but their love story started 3 years prior to that.
Judy worked as a CNA for many years at the Clintonville Hospital. She then worked for a short time at Marion Plywood and at Zimmel’s Bakery in Clintonville. She was also employed for several years at Carver Woods in Marion. Finally, she worked at Specialized Products in Clintonville, until her retirement in 2008. But her most beloved job was being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Judy was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Town of Dupont. Throughout the years, the couple enjoyed attending many polka dances and going up north to fish. She loved to play and win against her husband at Sheepshead and Yahtzee. Judy also liked playing UNO with her grandkids and spending time with family. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh that often led to tears of joy.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Bill; and seven children, Barb (Dan) Waid, Carla (Mike) Smith, Deb (Darold) Krueger, Lee (friend Jayme Van Allen) Bork, Brian (Rachel) Bork, Allen “AJ” (Jenny) Bork, Ann (Paul) Gast. There are 10 grandchildren: Samantha (Adrian) Gibbs; Leann (Jason) Schultz, Madysen Waid, Kelli Smith, Kenzie Smith, Abby Krueger, Bradley (Michelle) Krueger, Nicole Niemuth, Magnum Bork, and Dalton Williams. There are 11 great grandchildren: Bryce, Breanna, Justin, Mya, Makayla, Jazmyne, Josephine, Emily, Annabelle, Adelyn, and Lila. There is 1 great-great granddaughter, Noelle. Further survived by a sister-in-law, Donna (Dave Behnke) Krueger; a brother-in-law, Glenn Moder; and many other relatives and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Betty (Kenneth) Much; her brother, James Morrison; and several brothers/sisters-in-law.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, May 20th at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Town of Dupont, with Pastor Karen Riemer officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Marion, is assisting the family.
