Betty Jane Lydia Bucholtz was born on June 22, 1937 in New London as the daughter of the late Clarence and Lydia (Jaeger) Bucholtz. Betty graduated from New London High School with the Class of 1955 and was united in marriage to Gerald Wisnefske on August 22, 1959 at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London. The couple made their home on a farm just outside of Clintonville and Betty worked for the Wisconsin Telephone Company in Appleton until 1961 when she began working for Dairyman’s State Bank in Clintonville. As faithful members of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville, Betty spent 25 years as the church’s financial secretary and enjoyed volunteering wherever needed. She would often take time to curl up with a good book or knit afghans and enjoyed traveling the country with Gerald over the years. Betty was a Green Bay Packer fan, loved animals, was great at decorating for the different seasons, enjoyed making ceramics, and looked forward to her walks around their property checking on the wildflowers and woods.
