PULASKI, WI- Fox Communities Credit Union, a not-for-profit financial institution with locations throughout northeast Wisconsin, has kicked off its Pulaski Power Up
campaign.
The campaign aims to donate $5,000 to the Pulaski United Foundation and the Pulaski Tri-County Fire Department. Now through October 31, those who become a new member and open a checking account at Fox Communities Credit Union will help make a difference. New members will receive a donation ticket to put toward either nonprofit organization. When the event concludes, the $5,000 donation will be divided up based on how many tickets each nonprofit has received.
“We’re proud of our involvement within the communities we call home. But we also know we can always do more, and right now, we’ve got our eyes focused on you,
Pulaski,” said Andy Wilson, community development officer at Fox Communities Credit Union.
New members who put at least $50 into their new checking accounts will also receive an additional $50 to donate in any way they see fit.
“That means you can pay it forward at the pump or getting groceries,” said Wilson. “You can even donate a meal to a less-mobile neighbor, donate to the school district, leave a generous tip for the wait staff, or save it for Christmas and buy a toy for a child in need, just to name a few.”
In order to qualify, you must open a checking account at:
Fox Communities Credit Union
1061 Corporate Way
Pulaski, WI 54162
The credit union is aiming to gain 125 new members. If this goal is not reached, the credit union will still donate to the two nonprofits based on how close it was to achieving its goal.
