GREEN BAY, WI- Green Bay police say a domestic disturbance suspect was wounded by officers Wednesday night. The man’s name hasn’t been released. Officers say at one point he was holding a handgun in one hand and drinking what appeared to be a beer that was held in his other hand while he talked to them. They were trying to get him to put down the weapon. He apparently kept appearing at the scene, then running away, more than once. During a pursuit, the suspect may have fired shots at his pursuers. That’s when three officers opened fire and wounded him. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
