MADISON, WI- A poll conducted by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce reveals that 71 percent of state business leaders expect a full recession within 12 months. Forty percent of the leaders participating in the Wisconsin Employers Survey think it will come by the end of this year. The latest survey found economic optimism is falling. More than half of the businessmen who responded say they believe Wisconsin’s economy will remain flat or shrink over the next six months. W-M-C conducts the survey twice each year.
