SHAWANO COUNTY, WI- Some damage was reported from Wednesday’s storms in Shawano County.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department reported more severe damage occurring on the western side of the county as well as the eastern side of the county. The areas that were most impacted were the townships of Almon, Angelica, Lessor and Navarino.
Emergency officials say most of the damage was downed power lines and downed trees. The Shawano County Highway Department worked in the evening hours clearing some of the road debris, allowing for all major roads in Shawano County to be open for travel.
There were some reports of private property damage, including structural damage, as well as trees on roofs and residences. No injuries were reported.
