SHAWANO, WI- The Shawano School District will have a new principal next school year. The Clintonville School Board is scheduled to approve the hire of Scott Zwirschitz at their meeting on Monday. Zwirschitz is listed to be approved as a High School Social Studies Teacher.

His resignation process was met with concern by many staff and community members when it was learned that the district Superintendent sent an email blast to the district staff explaining his intentions of leaving before the High School staff found out. A follow up email from Superintendent Randi Anderson included and apology and stated that it was sent to the wrong address book. Zwirschitz then informed the High School staff Wednesday after school.
Zwirschitz did not explain his reasons for leaving. He did go to High School in Clintonville and currently has a daughter in the district.

The Shawano School Board is expected to approve the resignation during their next meeting.
