Charlotte L. Perryman, age 77 of Shawano, went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 2, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Charlotte was born February 21, 1943 in Escanaba, Michigan, a daughter of the late Harold and Lillian (Dubord) Leisner. She attended school in Escanaba. On June 18, 1960, Charlotte was united in marriage to Francis “Max” Perryman at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hyde, Michigan. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Hyde, MI, Rockford, IL, and York, NE.
When Max retired, the couple moved to Shawano to enjoy his retirement. Charlotte worked at Charlie’s County Market in the bakery department for over 17 years. Charlotte was a good and faithful member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church. She loved her pets, and enjoyed baking sweets. Charlotte will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Paul (Melissa) Perryman of Cornell, MI; Jerry (Leah) Perryman of Rockford, IL, Darin (Tracy) Perryman of New London, WI, and Mark Perryman of Grand Island, NE; grandchildren Jeremy (Brittany), Madeline (Tyler), Thomas, Alexis, Emily, Gavin, Jenna, and Elizabeth; and two great-grandchildren, Harper and Maylie. She is further survived by her brothers, Harold (Cheryl) Leisner, Terry (Darcy) Leisner, and Larry (Donna) Leisner, all of Escanaba, MI; her sisters, Joanne Lewis and Marilyn Skarbowski, also of Escanaba; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max, on June 20, 2018, her sister, Doreen Pry, and her brother, Gary Leisner.
A memorial service for Charlotte will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Shawano. Pastor Wolf Parsons will officiate. Interment will take place in the spring in the Ford River Cemetery in Ford River, MI. Visitation will begin at the church at 10:00 AM and continue until the time of service.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the family requests masks be worn while in attendance and social distancing be followed.
