William “Carson” Wilber III, age 56 of Keshena, started his journey to the Spirit World at his home on Sunday evening, June 28, 2020.
Carson was born on February 6, 1964 in Shawano to Karen (James) Wilber and the late William “Snooky” Wilber, Jr. He graduated from high school with an H.S.E.D. He enjoyed working on and repairing vehicles as a shade tree mechanic. He also liked working with his special friend, Dennis Sanapaw, as a tree trimmer, reading, and spending time at the lake lot playing horse shoes. But most of all, he loved spending time with his special nephew, Cody.
Survivors include his children, Bill and Megan; his mother, Karen J. Wilber; his brothers, Kirk (Annette “Tiny”) Wilber, Jeffrey (Kerry) Wilber, Sr., and Darin (June) Wilber, Sr.; as well as his grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his younger brother at birth, Darren Wilber; and his step-dad, Clifford J. Wilber. Carson will now be in heaven with his favorite Uncle “Joe Brown”.
A Funeral Mass for Carson will be celebrated on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Keshena. Fr. Nonito Barra will be the Celebrant. Visitation will begin at 10:00 and continue until the time of Mass.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests that those who attend the services observe social distancing and wear a mask. They also understand if you are uncomfortable attending and prefer to stay home.
