The Deer Camp Bar on the corner of highway K and Porter Road burned to the ground this morning. Fire Fighters responded after receiving a call at 5:06 this morning. Fire fighters arrived to find the building engulfed in flames. Five area departments assisted the Shawano Fire Department in battling the blaze. No occupants or emergency responders were injured in the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The bar, formerly known as The Hunter Haus and Plesheks Pavilion, was a total loss.
