Dale A. Blum, age 73, of Harrisville, formerly of Marion, passed away peacefully, Saturday morning, July 6, 2019 at his home.
He was born February 23, 1946 in Wausau, the son of the late Emil and Iva (Mehlberg) Blum. In 1965 he married Diane Hanke and separated in 1988. He later married Mary M. Kieffer-Korth on October 12, 1998 at Chapel of the Bell’s in Lake Tahoe.
Dale served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1963 until 1967. After serving his country he bought a farm on M outside of Tigerton, WI. In 1989 he bought the Clint-Mar Supper Club which he operated for 20 years. Dale was a very patriotic man that took great pride in his country. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Blum, Harrisville; his children; son, Richard Blum (wife Rhonda, children, Garrett and Abby), daughter, Juli (husband Bert, children, Jeremy (Brenda) and Joshua (Amanda); step-children; Doug (Sue) Korth, Todd (Melanie) Korth, Barb (Patrick) Keelan, Pam (Joe) Anklam, grandchildren; Jaylyn, Jackson, Jessalyn, Cale, and one on the way, Scott (Alicia), Ryan (Kristina), Jennifer, Nicole (Michael), Joshua, Beth (Bryce) Tyler, Kyle, Nicole, Zach, Jacob, Kathy, and 13 Great Grandchildren; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dewey, one sister Donna, brother-in-law, Marlin and one nephew, Kevin.
The family will celebrate Dale’s life with a gathering on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 11:00 to 3:00 with an Honor Guard Salute at 12:00 at the Clint-Mar Supper Club, Marion, WI. He will be laid to rest in the Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, King, Wisconsin.
