Shawano community members had a chance to meet the three candidates being considered for the position of district administrator during a public forum at the high school Monday night.
People had a chance to spend one hour with each finalist asking questions on a variety of topics, including working with the community…and why they picked Shawano:
Randi Anderson – currently superintendent of Pelican Rapids School District
Annette Deuman – currently superintendent of Columbus School District
Dr. Gereon Methner – currently secondary principal for the Gibraltor Area Schools
The school board hopes to announce the winning candidate, Wednesday, July 24.
There were 27 applicants for the superintendent post. Eight were chosen for a first round of interviews with the board, held earlier this week, and then the list was pared down to three.
