The Waupaca County Office of Emergency Management has declared a flood emergency for the waters of the Wolf River in Waupaca County downstream of the City of New London. This declaration imposes a SLOW-NO-WAKE zone on the Wolf River in accordance with Chapter No. 40 of Waupaca County Ordinances.
River levels at this point are consistent with recent spring water levels that have not caused wide-spread flooding to homes and businesses. The Slow – No – Wake order is put in place to reduce the risk of damage to structures caused by the wake of a boat.
