Youth Tournament play picked up again Friday night in Shawano.
Shawano Red scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to pull away from Seymour for a 7-1 win in the 12U Division. The inning broke a 2-1 game open. Bonduel edged Shawano Black 4-2 in an early game. Oshkosh North came from behind to tie Peshtigo 2-2. A base hit in the 6th scored the tying run for North. They held Peshtigo scoreless in the bottom of the 6th to secure the tie.
Shawano 11U got their bats going early, earning a 10-0 win over Mosinee. Greenville and Seymour both took loses to open play.
Shawano 8U opened tournament play strong with an 11-0 win over Clintonville to take the early lead in the Pool. Kaukauna earned a convincing win over Merrill.
