The 2017 Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair was crowned Wednesday evening at the 94th Annual Wisconsin Association of Fairs Convention held in the Wisconsin Dells.
A field of 39 contests from county and district fairs throughout the state participated in the competition, with Rebecca Starkenburg, representing the Lodi Agricultural Fair, being crowned with the coveted position.
Kristi Sawall from Clintonville, representing the Waupaca County Fair, was named the fourth runner-up.
Each year the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair travels throughout the state promoting the educational, agricultural, social, and cultural opportunities available during Wisconsin’s great fairs.
