NEW LONDON, WI – US 45 reopened Tuesday afternoon after it was closed for nearly four hours due to a semi fire.

Crews say the semi caught fire around 12:45 PM and it resulted in the closing of both lanes between Everts Lane and School Road.

Both lanes were reopened around 4:30 p.m.

Officials have not released information on how the fire started.
